Start your own bike blog
When I started biking to work (almost) year-round in 2003, I started blogging about my rides. At first, it was just basic data like distance, destination, weather, and average speed. When I got a camera phone, I started adding a lot of photos to my blog posts. And then I stopped biking to work, and I only posted every now and then.

In the past few years, I’ve lost the beard I wore in the old days like the photo on the right, and I’ve re-built this web site a few times over the years. At one point, I even set it up as a multi-user blogging platform and invited other bicyclists to blog here, but I never had any takers.
This current design is heavy on the news feeds, because if I can’t do as much writing about bike rides as I’d like to, at least I can read about what’s going on in the rest of the bicycling world.
But I’m not done trying. I am hoping that I can (a) spend more time on two wheels, and then blog about those rides, and of course, post photos I take on rides; (b) spend more time writing about bicycling in general, not just specific rides; and (c) finding a few fellow bicyclists who want a place to blog about bicycling.
So, are you a bicyclist? Want to write about bicycling? Let me know. Send me an email at thomas@woodswebdesign.com.
